Making the Grade
Senior guard Alex Ruoff earned first-team ESPN The Magazine Academic All-America recognition, making him the fifth WVU men’s basketball player in six years to be named an Academic All-American. The history major from Spring Hill, Fla., was the only Big East player selected for any of the three teams. Ruoff also received the Scholar-Athlete of the Year and Sportsmanship Awards from the Big East Conference.
