Leading WVU into the Future
James P. Clements, current provost and vice president for academic affairs at Towson University in Maryland, was named president-elect of WVU Friday, March 6, and will become the University’s 23rd president on June 30, 2009. A respected higher education leader, Clements was elected by members of the WVU Board of Governors with the consent of the Higher Education Policy Commission.
